Great Trash Productions.
We make art. Weird art. Fun Art. With Love. With care. Without reason. You’ll love it.
Who Are We?
Our Mission
Great Trash Productions is an interdisciplinary arts production company dedicated to handling serious topics in profoundly unserious ways. Our mission is to dismantle literality, sensibility, and feasibility that is perpetuated by those with an obstinate idea that art must be realistic. We believe art is most impactful and expressive when it has the freedom to deviate from reality; to restrict it is to die a literal death. We want to empower, enthuse, outrage, and inspire you, and hopefully learn a little bit about ourselves along the way.

Our History
Starting as an anguished dream, Great Trash Productions was born when two friends were fed up with stuffy and scrutinized art. In June 2024, Colleen Bayati and Zack Faulks created the company to create spirited, fun, and fantastical projects that are also deeply fulfilling.

Great Trash Productions operates out of Vancouver, BC, Canada, as an indie/no-budget company. Many of their works involve recycled and repurposed materials in efforts to reduce pollution and emphasize their mission. They frequently work in collaboration with Presentation House Theatre in North Vancouver as members of the Creative Hub.

In April 2025, they went into production for their first dramedic short film EnTitties (in post-production). Their first publicly debuted theatre performance was their original musical World Ender, which debuted in July 2025 and received great praise from audience members and art professionals. Currently, they are in development for Bulimia is My Roman Empire – a comedy play discussing modern men’s physical and mental health whilst set in the toxicity of Ancient Rome and amidst the jaws of gluttony, coups, and assassination plots. Bulimia is My Roman Empire is set to debut in February 2026.
