Bulimia is My Roman Empire

As a group of Servants attempt to assassinate the Emperor, they discover that power may not be all that they had once desired. Learning that their target is engaged in a number of self-destructive behaviours, our conspirators are forced to follow down a long rabbit hole of strange diets, machismo, and fascism should they want to prove that they deserve the right to rule. As a satire of manhood, ultimately no one’s happy with where they end up.​​​

Demographic: This project wants to speak to all those who have a difficult relationship with their bodies. While this piece is partially centered around the failures of masculinity, it does not attempt to engage uniquely with a male-identifying audience.

World Ender is a musical exploring various publicly-derived answers to one question: “How would the world end for you?” With compiled vignettes of songs and stories, the performance explores answers such as global warming, apocalypse, and more through the lenses of young adults who give these answers. World Ender explores themes of death, existentialism, love, joy, and the human condition.
